FSPCA released the training curriculum (including manual) for understanding and complying with the Food Traceability Rule. The training was developed with input from FDA. "This curriculum was developed to support the food industry in understanding and meeting the requirements of the FDA’s Final Rule on Requirements for Additional Traceability Records for Certain Foods, or Food Traceability Rule (FTR)."

What I find useful in the training is the examples that are provided. For manufacturing operations, much of the information required to be captured is already part of normal lot tracking protocols. It can be more of a challenge at the farm level and for those who are distributing from that level.
